Hey there Dr. Doni!
I hope all is well with you – I remember when we worked together that last piece of figuring out myself and emotional stuff was so critical to dealing with my insomnia – remember when you provided all the help on the herbs etc…and had great advice – and I also think a big part of the problem for me was that I was getting in my own way with the sleep stuff. I remember you telling me sometimes this was the toughest part of the puzzle for most of us, to see how we can let go and trust.

That sent me on a quest for information to find the answer – and that quest led me on a trip to Barnes and Noble one afternoon when I bought a great book I seemed drawn to. It was fantastic and I have been meaning to send it to you, in case your patients may have a need for a good book to read in tandem with the support you provide. It helps to educate the person about sleep (in a way that doesn’t stress you out!) and is a lot about cognitive restructuring. Here is the link if you wanted to check it out. Within 2 weeks I was sleeping ‘normally’ and I still refer to it when I go through periods where sleep is difficult, etc…
